Mon, 20 April 2009 In a fun-filled action packed episode, Scott revisits some of his old Superman Family comics, focusing mostly on the Nightwing and Flamebird stories. But don't worry, you still hear about Krypto, Lois Lane and Superman's pal, Jimmy Olsen. Scott also plugs the hell out of an awesome podcast - ALTERNATE REALITY! Next the HORROR kicks in as Scott and Chris continue their issue by issue dissection of D.C.'s "Saga of the Swamp Thing" and Image's "The Walking Dead" with issues #2 and #6, respectively. By some odd coincidence, both these issues have a small child save the protagonist! Freaky, man, like wow! Mon, 13 April 2009 Horrific? Hilarious? Robert Bloch's "Wolf In The Fold" is both! Winnie the Pooh is crossed with Jack the Ripper in the episode Scott likes to call "The Killer Piglet". Scott also reviews John Byrne's "Romulans: The Hollow Crown" comics. Top it off with some vintage Kirk and that ought to shut you up for another month...Until then...click HERE to watch Wolf In The Fold! Mon, 6 April 2009 Fuggedaboud Dork Reign! Screw Final Crapsis!! The Freaks have just read the REAL comic book event of the year!! Join 'em for an in-depth analysis of IDW's Star Trek mini-series "Countdown", the prequel for the much-anticipated and much-feared J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie!! Do the comics help to ease the feelings of dread that Scott and Chris have been feeling for months, or are they simply another cheesy pointless tie-in to make a quick buck? Should they now read the IDW Terminator: Salvation prequel mini? Join the Dorky Duo and find out if they are holding their breath or holding their noses! Mon, 6 April 2009 ![]() This month, the Freaks focus on some droid related Star Wars media! In the 6th episode of Cartoon Network's The Clone Wars, we get to see what IG-88 would've looked like in action as a bunch of bounty droids are loosed on Ahsoka and Anakin as they search for a missing Artoo-Detoo. Next the Freaks review two GREAT issues of the Marvel Comics Star Wars, #16 and 17, where we meet Valance the Cyborg and enjoy a flashback story of Luke's early days on Tatooine! Freaks, Droids and Tusken Raiders, what more could you ask for?!
